Epoxy is the perfect material to make permanent repairs of rotting window sills, door jambs and exterior molding that are difficult to remove and expensive to replace. Epoxy is easy to handle too. You mix it like cookie dough, mold it like modeling clay and, when it hardens, you carve and sand it just like wood.
White cedar is one of the most decay-resistant woods in North America, so it lasts outside for decades; it is perfect for a huge range of outdoor structures, such as decks, docks, fences, sheds, barns, pergolas, gazebos, raised garden beds, picnic tables, saunas, chairs, rockers, siding, roofing, verandas and more! It is also such a beautiful wood that it is used extensively for indoor paneling, wainscoting, ceilings and floors.
Stunning Live Edge Shelf

Yellow cedar is one of the world’s most durable woods. It grows up to 24 metres tall and often lives to 1,000 years. It resists corrosion and the elements so it is ideal for industrial uses and is used extensively for boat building, sauna manufacturing, fine cabinetry and interior and exterior millwork.
Douglas fir, which has sometimes been called the Douglas tree, Oregon pine, and Douglas spruce, is not actually a true fir, a pine, or a spruce. Indicative of the taxonomic confusion about this tree, the scientific genus name Pseudotsuga means “false hemlock,” alluding to yet another kind of tree somewhat similar to this unique but important tree. Douglas firs are evergreen trees, meaning they keep their needle-like leaves year-round. There are two varieties of this species, coast Douglas fir and Rocky Mountain Douglas fir, which are differentiated by their habitats, growth rates, and physical characteristics.
Use this as a shelf or as a mantel above a fireplace. Ambrosia Maple wood features oblong and gray hued bores that run with the grain of the wood leaving a distinct coloration and texture. Highlight these unique elements with a clear finish or stain to match existing decor. Mantel (shelf), wood mounting cleat, wall screws, finish nails and instruction sheet are all included.
